“I love you.” God
I love you. I sent Jesus to save you. I Jesus, I didn’t come to point out all of your faults and to make you feel worthless. I came to save you. I love you (John 3:16-17).
You can’t earn my love – I offer it freely. I don’t care how good you are in school, music or sports… I still love you. I don’t care if everybody loves you or if you feel totally alone – I love you and I will heal your hurts. Don’t try to earn what you already have, just accept my love (Ephesians 2:8, Philippians 2).
I am patient and I’m working with you. I am kind – I want what is best for you. My love never ends – ever. You can know and feel my love right now but someday you will know the fullness of my love and experience it forever. I Corinthians 13
I loved you when you didn’t deserve my love. I loved you when you were a mess, even now when you feel like a mess, when you feel like everything in the world is against you. I loved you before you even knew I existed. I loved you first. You are important to me always regardless of what you are good @ or what you stink @ or what sins you struggle with (Romans 5:8, Romans 8:1). I chose you before the beginning of the world. I know you inside and out and guess what? I still love you. I know you love me, but never forget that I loved you first (I John 4:19).
I have not given you a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. You don’t need to be afraid of anything because I love you. I will take care of you no matter how bad it gets. I have given you the Holy Spirit who helps you cry out to me – “daddy”. You are my son, you are my daughter - I have adopted you into my family and into my eternal kingdom because I love you (Romans 8:15).
I think about you all of the time, right now in fact – I the Holy Spirit help you pray, in fact I pray for you with groaning that you could never understand. I love you my daughter, my son. I, Jesus, am full of love for you. I too am thinking about you all day everyday as I pray for you (Romans 8:34). I know that life can be difficult but I want you to know that I will always love you, I will always be with you, "I will never leave you nor forsake you (Romans 8:35-39 Hebrews 13:5).”
Nothing can separate you from me and my love. When the hard times just won’t seem to leave you alone, I still love you. When you are stressed out beyond what you feel you can possibly bear, when you don’t feel like getting out of bed to face the day, I love you and will help you. If you lose everything that is important to you, I love you. “Neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,” can separate you from my love (Romans 8:35-39).
I came to set you free from the chains that keep you from being the person you want to be, to set you free from the things that will bring you real joy. Not the short term joy that the systems of the world offer - The systems that just want you money and don’t have your best interest in mind. I want you to be full of joy (Luke 4:18).
I love you and protect you like I am a good shepherd and you are my sheep. I will make sure you have everything you need even when it feels like you don’t – trust me, I love you. I am in the business of restoring your tired worn out soul. Follow me because in my love, I lead you to do the right things, actions and thoughts that bring you life and joy. You don’t need to fear anything because I am with you and want to comfort and strengthen you – please let me (Psalm 23).
I want to give you a full, rich, exciting life, full of meaning and hope(John 10:10). I know you and you can know me. The more you look for me the more I will show you of my love for you (John 10:14). You can do great things because of my love for you (Ephesians 2:10).
If you trust me, receive my love each day, you will see amazing things happen in your life. People will find Jesus; people will be filled with my joy, my peace and purpose (John 15).
I love you. Accept my love. Give my love away.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit
